Gazella
There are 2 species known in Tanzania: Gazella granti (Grant's Gazelle) and Gazella thomsonii (Thomson's Gazelle). In the picture to the right the animal on the left side is a Grant's gazelle (note that the white extends above the tail) and the animal on the right is a Thomson's gazelle (note that the white does not extend above the tail). The gazelles are common residents of grassland and woodland areas.
