Type Locality
Egypt, Qena, near Luxor.

Description
There is 1 species that has been recorded from Zanzibar, however, this record may be based on a misidentification of a museum specimen and the genus probably does not occur in Tanzania (D. Kock, pers.com.). The nose leaves are very blunt and almost indistinguishable and the fur is very pale.
