Description

There is an isolated population in the Serengeti ecosystem. This monkey has long slender white limbs and a reddish brown back.

Distribution

Erythrocebus patas ranges from the open grasslands of savannahs to the dry woodlands and wooded steppes south of the Sahara from Senegal to Somalia down to northeast Tanzania. (Kingdon, 1984, 1997)
